This policy explains how KL Divers (“we”) handles personal information on the website kldivers.com and in our Android apps:

1. Purpose of processing
We process personal information only to provide our services: website membership and learning tools, teacher matching, game features, saving your progress and streaks, ad-free purchases and coupons, and showing ads on the website and in the free apps. If a purpose changes, we will ask for your consent first.
2. Information we collect
2-1. Website (kldivers.com)
- Members: name, email address, date of birth (if provided), and for teachers, Korean language teacher certificate information.
- Automatically: IP address and basic access logs needed to run and secure the site.
- Learning records you save while signed in (e.g., typing and quiz results).
- Cookies: the website shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites (see section 4).
2-2. Apps
You can play all games without signing in. Without sign-in, your progress is stored only on your device.

Payment details (card numbers etc.) are handled by Google Play. We never receive them.
3. Retention
- Account and game data: kept while your account exists, and deleted within 30 days after you ask us to delete it.
- Data stored only on your device: removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- Records we must keep by law are kept only for the period the law requires.
4. Third parties and service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We use the following services, which process data as described in their own policies:

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Apart from the services above, we do not provide personal information to third parties unless required by law.
5. Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
6. Your rights
You can exercise the rights you have under applicable data protection law (for example, to access, correct or erase your personal information, or to object to its processing) by contacting us (see section 10). We will respond as the law requires. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
7. Delete your account and data (apps)

- Email kldiverskr@gmail.com with the subject “Account deletion request”.
- Send it from the Google account you used to sign in, and tell us which app(s) you used.
- We delete your account and data within 30 days and reply when it is done.
Deleted: your account (email, name, user ID), game records (streaks, statistics, rankings, nickname), and ad-free/coupon records linked to your account.
Not deleted by us: payment records kept by Google Play under Google’s policies, and advertising data controlled by Google AdMob. Cancel any active subscription in Google Play before requesting deletion — deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
8. Destruction
When the purpose of processing is achieved or the retention period ends, we destroy personal information without delay. Electronic files are deleted so they cannot be recovered.
9. Security measures
We protect personal information with encryption in transit, access restriction and management, and installation and regular updates of security programs.
